DriveRight is a Windows utility that puts you back in control of which folders sync to your cloud storage — and which ones stay put.
The problem it solves
Cloud sync is all or nothing. You either hand over an entire folder tree or you manage it by hand, file by file. Folders you never wanted in the cloud get swept up anyway, and the ones you care about are buried alongside them.
DriveRight shows you your drives as a folder tree with checkboxes. You tick what you want. That’s it — that’s the whole interface, and that’s the whole promise.
What it does
Pick any folder, anywhere. Your main drive, a second internal drive, an external USB drive, an archive directory. If it’s on your machine, it’s in the tree.
Two-way sync with conflict handling. Changes flow in both directions. When the same file changes in two places, DriveRight tells you rather than guessing.
Watches for changes as you work. Edit a file in a synced folder and DriveRight picks it up. No scheduled scans to configure, no “sync now” ritual.
Runs quietly. Lives in the system tray and stays out of the way.
Never deletes your files. This is a fixed rule in DriveRight, not a setting. Removing a folder from your selection stops syncing it — it does not delete it, here or at the destination.
Where your files go
DriveRight copies your files only to storage that belongs to you:
- Your Microsoft OneDrive account
- Your QNAP NAS
There is no DriveRight cloud service. Fuller Consulting operates no server your files pass through, holds no copy of your data, and collects no analytics about how you use the app. Your files move between your PC and the destination you chose — nothing in between.
